For over 100 years, the members of Zeta Tau Alpha have promoted and upheld the highest standards of scholarship, service, and sisterhood- reminded always to “seek the noblest” in every aspect of their lives. The sisters of the Theta Tau chapter here at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill have continued this tradition, earning the award for the best chapter in North Carolina this year, and 2nd best ZTA chapter in the country last year at National Convention. Their hard work and passion for others showed last spring, when they raised over $43,000 for their philanthropy; breast cancer research and awareness.
They are also outstanding members of the Carolina community, representing ZTA in various leadership positions all over campus and involving themselves in various athletics, music, clubs and organizations, and community service. Zeta’s campus involvement with the Greek community has not gone unrecognized either; they are the most recent recipients of the UNC Greek Unity award as well!
This year, Theta Tau is excited to announce its newest academic initiatives. While already striving for academic excellence, they are taking steps to reach for even greater successes. This will continue to develop the girls’ endeavors as they continue to contribute members to the Carolina Business, Journalism, and even Medical schools.
One of the greatest qualities of Zeta Tau Alpha is the inextricable bond between the girls. They stick together in everything they do, whether they’re attending a service activity, going to a formal or mixer, or studying hard for exams. Please check us out!
