Recruitment
Each fall, Zeta Tau Alpha participates in Formal Panhellenic Recruitment. This is a time for potential new members to meet the women at each of the Panhellenic houses. During four rounds, potential new members learn about each chapter's goals, purpose, sisterhoodand philanthropy, all to find the place where they feel the most comfortable.
Zeta Tau Alpha is proud to be a part of the Panhellenic Community at UNC, which is full of intelligent, creative, talented, and commited women. Joining ZTA will provide you with:

May 2: Panhellenic Recruitment Registration Opens
August 19: Last day to register at $50
August 26: Greek Promotional Day, 11:00am-2:00pm - The Pit
August 28: Panhellenic Recruitment Registration Closes at 9:00pm
August 29: Panhellenic Recruitment Kick Off, 8:00pm - Great Hall
August 30 & September 1: Panhellenic Recruitment Group Meetings
August 31: Mandatory PNM Information Session, 8:00pm - Great Hall
September 2: Panhellenic Recruitment Round 1 - Open House, 4:00pm - 11:00pm
September 4: Panhellenic Recruitment Round 2 - Skit Round, 3:00 - 8:30pm
September 5: Panhellenic Recruitment Round 3 - House Tours & Philanthropy Round, 4:00 - 9:05pm
September 7: Preference Night, 6:00 - 9:00pm
September 8: Bid Day, 6:00pm - Carolina Arboretum
Letters of Recommendation
A recommendation letter serves as an introduction of a potential new member to a sorority. These letters help us to become acquainted with a potential new member before the formal recruitment process begins. Recommendation letters must be written by an alumna member of Zeta Tau Alpha. Should an alumna offer to write a recommendation, they may send it directly to us no later than August 14.
